Children's Literature

I am taking a Children's Lit class online. So far I am really enjoying the books we are reading. Each week we read one novel-ish children's book (they aren't very long) and several picture books. I decided to put a gadget on the side bar of the children's book I am currently reading and a list of the picture books that I plan to own someday.

Part of my old calling was to promote literacy. I really enjoyed that part. Even though that is not my responsibility any more, I decided to do a little something literacy on my own blog. If you get a chance to read these books, I'd love to talk about them with you.
