A record of my proceedings

You know, I haven't written in my journal in a while but I thought that my blog could count as a record of our families proceedings. Then I thought, I better update it. So here's what we've been up to....

I had a birthday! Happy Birthday to me. So birthday's aren't quite the same as they were when I was a kid. I'm definitely not as bratty as I was back then. Actually, Maddie loves birthday's so much I think I will start giving mine to her. This year for my birthday, I got to pick out a new birthday outfit and got to have dinner out with my three favorite people in the world.

Next, we had an anniversary. Aaron made me a fancy dinner (we were suppose to make it together, oops). It was delicious. We mostly just hung out around the house. We have been married now for 4 years. It seems longer, is that bad? It just seems like we have always been together. We have definitely learned a whole lot and I am so grateful that we are married. I love the station of life we are in right now. We are happy, we have two beautiful daughters, and we have everything we really need.

So, part of the reason I haven't been blogging is because I have spent a lot of time working on the website. I think it is ready. I am still working on posting a few items but for the most part, people can make orders and checkout the stuff I am selling. I will start telling people about the website on Friday at the Farmer's Market. If you know anyone having a baby, checkout the webpage. I am offering a 25% off first time orders with the coupon code "market." I put a link to it on the side bar of my blog.

Also, a few other things I've been working on.... I want to start up a scheduled morning for me and the girls, giving each of the girls a period of time. This period of time we can do whatever they want and that half hour or hour, is all about them. I also will start working with letters with Maddie. She is really into recognizing letters so want to start working on reading while she likes it. I am going to set up a little school work station in our bedroom for Maddie to do (fun) school work each day. She loves to play pretend school with her friends.

The last kind of goal we have been working on is scripture study. Sometimes my scripture study gets kind of routine and boring. I was talking about it with Aaron and he brought up the point that things get boring when we don't see result (like exercise). So for scripture study we are going to work on learning things that will help us see results in our daily lives. we aren't reading for a specified length of time or a certain amount of chapters. We are just reading each morning until we find something we can try to apply that day. We read at breakfast; feed or bodies, feed our spirits.

Thats it for now. Maybe I will post some pictures later. The webpage as a lot of cute pictures of the girls, so look around.
