When I was a child we dyed eggs and my parents would hide them in our house over and over again. We egg hunted all day long (probably not really but that is what I remember). This year Easter seemed a bit rushed because a lot is going on in life. We did manage to get some eggs dyed before easter was over. We got to have a semi-sleepover with Taylor and Emily because their mom was delivering the best easter gift ever, a sister! This morning also marks the day the girls had their first cinnamon rolls. Maddie loved them. They had too much frosting for Tara. But somehow we managed to eat them all. I had a hard time getting a good picture out of these two. They sure are goofy with friends to play with all day.
We hope you had a great Easter too! I feel so blessed to know about Jesus Christ, his life and resurrection. He truly is my king!
I will leave you with this conversation between the girls:
M: Guess what? The Easter bunny is going to bring me a huge chocolate bum for Easter
T: Me too!
M: but my chocolate bum is going to be bigger than yours
T: my chocolate bum is going to be as big as the car
M: mine will be as big as the house!
T: mine will be bigger than the house!
Yeah for big chocolate bums for Easter!! I know that's what you wanted.
