January Dailies

1. I forgot to take pictures but we spent the New Years with our friends, the House's. We decided to give the girls a 5pm nap before the party. They did so well. We might implement a family nap time every New Years Eve.

2. I was in the other room when Tara came to me and said, "mommy, I am so so sorry." I came into the kitchen and found she had dropped her hot chocolate cup. It shattered and there was hot chocolate all over the kitchen. Tara was pretty upset until she realized she had marshmallows in her hand.

3. We spent most of January sick. Maddie stayed the healthiest, I think she was only sick for a couple days. Tara spent a lot of time in her underwear. She is always a few degrees warmer than the rest of us, even without a fever. I had some fun doctor drama. Fun might not be the best word. I like Aaron's doctor better than mine but its too much work to switch. All was fine with a visit to urgent care. Too bad Tara can't be my doctor because she looks like she knows what she's doing.

4. I left a mango core on the table and like father like daughter, Tara just snatched that thing up and started gnawing on it.

5. I didn't quite make dinner each night. Luckily, we have some really awesome friends who brought us meals (Seriously so thankful for you guys!) and Maddie and Tara helped with meals too.  PB&J for life! Good thing they like sandwiches. I'm just glad we are all feeling better. It felt like I was going to be sick forever.
